What You Will Find
Essential Information
Many resources are accompanied by a brief summary underscoring the most relevant information. Summaries of original research typically include some of the study’s basic strengths and limitations. When possible, we provide additional information, such as declared conflicts of interest and funding sources, to help you evaluate the resource critically.
Select Sources
Individual resources are drawn from sources that have undergone a preliminary screening. For example, academic journals are evaluated on their scholarly impact and datasets on their transparency.
Variety of Data
Resources span peer-reviewed journal articles, original datasets, legal documents, agency reports, and other publications. Each resource might use one or more sources of data or information, including quantitative data, qualitative data, a review of the literature, or meta-analysis.
Pertinent and Comprehensive Topics
Resources cover topics that primarily concern animals, especially where there is a link with us, humans. This includes the climate, environment, communities, and human and animal health. We have included resources published from 2016 onwards.
